Cerasee Seeds

$3.99

Cerasee or bitter melon is used as food and medicine. You can eat the seed and fruit, plant the seed, use the vines in your meals, or brew the vines and make tea.

**** If you live in California, Hawaii, or Alaska due to your states laws, I cannot mail the vines. If you order the vines, I will send you a private message and issue a full refund.*****
Organic, Hand-picked Jamaican Cerasee Leaves and Stem, also known as Bitter Melon is grown on the farm and is free of chemicals and pesticides. We grow it off the ground to limit critters getting access. It is dried in a cool, dark room instead of sundried to preserve the color and benefits.

READY TO SHIP! The DRIED cerasee leaves and stems are cut before packaging to ensure you won’t have to remove one large clump upon arrival, making it easier to handle. The leaves will be air dried in a dark room and will retain their green color. At NWF cerasee is harvested and dried regularly.

Recipe
How to use cerasee for tea:
Lightly rinse just before use. Add to BOILING water, then boil for an additional 2 – 5 minutes.

You may also steep in boiling water for a lighter brew. The longer you boil/ steep, the stronger it becomes.

For individuals: 1/8 oz of dried cerasee, or 1 tsp grounded cerasee to 1-2 cups boiling water and steep. Strain into a tea cup. It will be bitter! If you are feeling like a champ, drink it straight, if not, add sweetener to make it more palatable. May be used as a detox (wash-out).

The green fruit can be sliced and used with other vegetables in a stir-fry.
